The
Employee Assistance Program is for the individual employee and
the employee's immediate family members. The EAP is designed
to provide confidential help to individuals whose personal problems
are affecting their ability to function at home, in their social
life, or on the job. EA Professionals are available to assess
the problem, provide guidance regarding the available alternatives
for solving the problem, and to help to find the best solutions.
Confidentiality is maintained! No one in the school system other
than the program staff has access to information on any employee
who seeks help through the program. Seeking assistance through
the EAP in no way jeopardizes one's employment or promotional
opportunities.
